Affect Roads: Santa Rosa Road, Camino Dos Rios, Foothill Road, Villanova Road and Doris Road. Traffic on the above roads may be restricted to one half of the roadway. Describe how traffic will be handled. Lane closures are allowed between 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Contractor shall place flagmen in each direction directing traffic. On Santa Rosa Road, no lane closures allowed between 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Contractor shall place a Changeable message sign (CMS) on Santa Rosa Road on the approach to the work in each direction at least days before traffic disruptions begin. Two CMS shall remain until paving is complete. Interruptions may occur due to one lane closure as stated above.

There will be work around power lines, telephone cables, etc. Specify Existing underground Edison lines, sanitary sewer line, water line, TV cable in Verizon fiber optic, and other unknown facilities.

Project is on or may affect traffic Roads, Streets, or Highway. Those affected are: Ponderosa Drive from Rosewood Ave to Lantana St and Rosewood Ave. Rosewood Avenue will be closed to traffic for the duration of the project. A traffic control plan has been included within the plan sheets.

The project is located 1200 feet west of First Street and about 70 feet south of Chambers Lane in the City of Simi Valley, Ventura County, California.

Description:

The project is comprised of construction of RC Pipe of which some is encased in steel casing and some of which will be jacked under the railroad track, reinforced concrete (RC) junction structure, storm drain manhole, RC box wall repair, new sewer manholes, sewer pipe, surface drain pipes, concrete apron, CMB access road, temporary access bridge, chain link  fence and gate and appurtenant work.
