The County Agricultural Commissioner is responsible for enforcing local ordinances, state laws and regulations and federal laws and regulations governing the agricultural industry.

We are mandated to promote and protect the production, sale and distribution of food, feed and horticultural crops, while assuring that a clean environment is conserved, workers' health and safety is protected, and a safe, economical and abundant food supply is preserved.
