In order to maximize the internal reuse of County assets, GSA Procurement has implemented a Surplus Property Virtual Warehouse that offers online viewing and request of surplus items from the intranet! Authorized County of Ventura and Ventura County Superintendent of Schools employees may view and select surplus items without leaving the comfort of their offices.
To further increase reuse and recycling efforts, if the item is not claimed for internal use after 14 days, it is made available to the general public, including County employees not directly involved with surplus operations or having privileged knowledge about an item.
