Transportation

The County of Ventura, our General Service Agency- Fleet Services Department, and the Board of Supervisors are committed to a vision of not only an efficient and fiscally responsible fleet, but as important, an eco-friendly operation.

 Rideshare Information

The Ventura County Transportation Commission's (VCTC) Commuter Services Department can assist both the public and County Employees in finding carpooling opportunities.  Simply fill out a registration form and VCTC will help you find people you can call to carpool, local park and ride lot locations, and contact information for Metrolink. They also offer a free Countywide Guaranteed Ride Home Program.

  County Employee Transportation Reimbursement Program

The Transportation Benefit Reimbursement Account Program is available to all regular and part-time employees of the County of Ventura who perform services and receive wages. The transportation benefit only covers employees and does not cover dependents, independent contractors, volunteers, and/or vendors.

The County of Ventura Transportation Benefit Reimbursement Program covers all public transit systems (i.e. train, subway, bus fares, etc.). However, the program does not cover commuter highway vehicles, private vehicles, or parking.
