Goals
- Provide mothers and children (especially those with low income or limited resources) access to quality maternal, child and adolescent health services.
- Reduce infant mortality and preventable diseases and handicapping conditions among children.
- Promote the health of mothers and infants by improving access to prenatal care for low-income, at-risk pregnant women.
- Promote the health of children by improving access to preventive care for low-income children.
Services
We assess the needs of women, infants, children and adolescents, coordinate and plan programs and services for them. We conduct community health status assessments, identify barriers to services, develop policy and programs based on the outcomes. We also coordinate health outreach and service quality assurance for women, children and families. We fund the programs and services listed below.
