The Water and Sanitation Department has two distinct divisions to serve the public.
The Utility Services Division provides an uninterrupted, high-quality water supply in sufficient volume and at a reasonable cost to meet the consumer's needs and collects, treats and disposes of wastewater safely and efficiently, meeting all state and federal permit requirements.
The Integrated Waste Management Division reduces waste, prevents pollution, and promotes the sustainable management of materials in partnership with the community. The Division is responsible for the County's compliance with the California Integrated Waste Management Act, including recycling and reuse programs to reduce waste going to landfills and to enhance environmental quality.
Division Locations
The Utility Services Division’soffice is located within the city of Moorpark on Spring Road, approximately 1.25 miles north of Hwy. 118. Water and sewer bills may be paid in person at the office during normal business hours, or may be deposited any time in the box marked "Water Bill Payment Only" in front of the office building.
