Digital Spatial Data

The Ventura County Watershed Protection District supplies GIS information in compliance with the California State Public Records Act. If you need to acquire digital geographic information concerning the watersheds of Ventura County, please call: (805) 650-4073; (805) 645-1383; or (805) 654-3658 to find out what is available and how to go about getting the information you need.

Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMs)

You can obtain current DFIRM maps from FEMA by going here:
FEMA Map Service Center - this site allows you to search by your address

The FIS (Flood Insurance Study) and DFIRM (Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps) became effective January 20, 2010.  FEMA's Map Service Center is responsible for providing the DFIRM, FIS and database.
