Central Services Department provides support services to all PWA departments.  Janice Turner is the Director of the Department and can be reached at (805) 654-2084.

Clerical Services provides assistance to the Agency Director, PWA departments and the public.  Reception, word processing and mail processing are handled by the Clerical Services Staff.

Computer/Facilities Support provides services related to computer technology, hardware/software acquisitions, network and account access including e-mail, County technology standards compliance, wireless broadband/cell/voice/satellite phone/pager communications, electronic equipment/software inventory and surplus, website design and maintenance, Internet monitoring, data storage, office re-configuration, and facilities maintenance and repair.

Fiscal Services provides financial accountability, monitors and reports on financial resources, maintains procurement system, and safeguards the Agency assets.  They are committed to providing professional, timely and efficient services while adhering to strict accounting standards mandated by national, state, and county regulatory agencies.

Health/Safety is dedicated to ergonomics, risk management, job safety analysis, Cal/OSHA compliance, emergency preparedness and all agency training, and vehicle replacements.

Personnel/Payroll is responsible for processing payroll, recruitments, benefits, and all employee transactions such as promotions, resignations, retirements, and new hires.

Real Estate Services assists departments with real property acquisitions, leasing, appraisals, easements, rights-of-way, eminent domain, and sale of excess County properties, road vacations, and utility relocations.  They also administer the County Service Areas and the County Franchise program.
