Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds!

The Ventura County Board of Supervisors and Ventura County Health Care Agency are excited to announce the third convening of the Ventura County Senior Summit on April 21, 2012, at California State University Channel Islands. This year’s Summit will focus on the health and wellness of seniors in our County. Participants will engage in important discussions on how to integrate mental, emotional, and physical care throughout the aging process, and learn how to be proactive in taking charge of one’s own health.

Participants sign up for workshops, enjoy a complimentary lunch while listening to the keynote presentation on health and longevity led by health care professionals in Ventura County. Following lunch, participants will have the option of attending an afternoon session of their choice, including a brand new forum called "Ask the Doctors" where seniors can discuss important questions with doctors.
