 CAMP COMFORT

11969 North Creek Road, Ojai. Hwy 33, S.E. on Hermosa Road. 654-3951

GENERAL: Host, Restrooms/Water

ACTIVITIES: Playground, Horseshoe Pits

CAMPING: RV, Firegrate, Showers, Laundry

San Antonio Creek flows through the park.  Beautiful shade trees.  15 campsites with full hookups including water, sewer, 30 and 50 amp electric, and cable TV.  Campground is ideal for group camping.  Laundry facilities and indoor showers for campers.   Clubhouse for indoor parties.  Two family and group barbeque areas perfect for reunions, company picnics, etc.  Dogs are not allowed in the day use section.

 

  


DENNISON PARK

Serene and quiet year around. Outstanding view of Ojai Valley. Shade trees. Family and group barbecue areas. Secluded individual campsites; firepits. Ideal for family reunions, church retreats, and camping groups. 

 

  

 

 


FOSTER PARK

438 Casitas Vista Road, Ventura. Hwy 33, Exit Casitas Vista/ Santa Ana Rd. 654-3951

GENERAL: Host, Restrooms/Water

PICNIC: Family, Group, BBQ/Fire Pits

ACTIVITIES: Amphitheater, Playground, Horseshoe Pits, Equestrian.

CAMPING: Tent, RV, Group, Youth, BBQ/Fire Pits

Historic park, first developed in 1906. Ventura River flows through the park. Shade trees. Trailhead for the highly popular Ojai Valley Trail. Fishing, hiking and relaxing. Family and group barbecue areas. Small amphitheater for non-amplified events. Family and group camping; fire pits.  Dogs are not allowed in the day use section.

 

 

 


KENNEY GROVE

ACTIVITIES: Amphitheater, Playground, Horseshoe Pits, Softball Field

CAMPING: Tent, RV, Group, Youth, BBQ/Fire Pits, Electrical Hookup

Quiet and secured. Developed campground with level, 20 amp. electric and water hookups. Ideal for group camping, hot showers, amphitheater, large grassy area. Large and small group barbecue areas ideal for company picnics, family reunions, etc. Beautifully landscaped, well shaded with majestic oak trees. OAK PARK

ACTIVITIES: Playground, Horseshoe Pits, Volleyball Court

CAMPING: Tent, RV, Group, Youth, BBQ/Fire Pits, Electrical Hookup

A developed campground with firepits, water and electrical hookups. Family and group picnic and playground areas. Clubhouse for large indoor parties. A combined group barbecue/camping area with electrical hookups and asphalt parking for R.V.'s opened in 1996.  Phone: (805) 654-3951

 

 


OJAI VALLEY TRAIL

Parallels Hwy 33, 9.5 miles. Foster Park, Ventura to Fox St, Ojai. 654-3951

GENERAL: None

PICNIC: None

ACTIVITIES: Equestrian, Bicycle, Pedestrian & Jogging Path

CAMPING: None

Post-and-rail wood fence separates wood-chip bridle path from paved multi-use 9.5 mile trail. Trail parallels Highway 33 from Foster Park, on the outskirts of Ventura, to Fox Street, Ojai.  Dogs allowed on leash only.

 

 

 


SOULE PARK

1301 Soule Park Drive, Ojai. Ojai Ave, South on Boardman Road. 654-3951

GENERAL: Host, Restrooms/Water

PICNIC: Family, Group, BBQ/Fire Pits

ACTIVITIES: Playground, Horseshoe Pits, Softball Field, Tennis Court, Equestrian

CAMPING: None

The most frequently used County park. Acres of grass area and shade trees. Tennis court, equestrian arena, softball field, children's playgrounds. Family and group barbecue areas located throughout the park. Next to Soule Park Golf Course.  Dogs are not allowed.

 

 

 


STECKEL PARK

8080 Mistletoe Road, Santa Paula. Hwy 150, 5 miles North of Santa Paula. Day-use and County operated campgrounds 654-3951.

GENERAL: Host, Restrooms/Water

PICNIC: Family, Group, BBQ/Fire Pits, Kitchen, Clubhouse

ACTIVITIES: Playground, Horseshoe Pits, Softball Field

CAMPING: Tent, RV, Group, Youth, BBQ/Fire Pits, Electrical Hookup

Santa Paula Creek flows through the park. Shade trees. Aviary. Fishing and hiking. Family and group barbecue areas. Family and group camping; firepits. Large campground next to creek.  RV and tent campground with group barbecue area, stone cabin and restroom also available through reservation.  Far West Resorts operates the campgrounds east of the Santa Paula Creek; their phone number is (805) 933-3200. Individual and R.V. group campgrounds west of the Santa Paula Creek are County operated; call (805) 654-3951.

 

 

 


TAPO CANYON PARK

CAMPING: Youth

Grassy picnic area.  Equestrian arena. Large undeveloped tent camping area.

 

 

 


TOLAND PARK

525 W. Toland Rd, Santa Paula, Ca 93060

PICNIC: Family

ACTIVITIES: Hiking

  Picnic area.  Large 212.7 acre undeveloped area for hiking and exploring.

 

 

 

 


FARIA BEACH

ACTIVITIES: Playground, Horseshoe Pits

CAMPING: Tent, RV, Group, BBQ/Fire Pits, Showers

Oceanside campground (42 sites) for families and groups: firepits, hot showers, flush toilets, concession stand, surf fishing, beautiful sandy shoreline, surfing and 15 sites with full hookups (water, sewer, electric and cable TV). 

 

 

 


HOBSON BEACH

5210 W. Pacific Coast Hwy, Ventura. Hwy 101, Sea Cliff offramp exit N.W. of Ventura. 654-3951

ACTIVITIES: None

CAMPING: Tent, RV, Group, BBQ/Fire Pits, Showers

Oceanside campground (31 sites) for families and groups: firepits, hot showers, flush toilets, concession stand, surf fishing, beautiful sandy shoreline, surfing and one of the best reefs for exploration at low tides. 10 sites with full hookups (water, sewer, electric, and cable TV).

 

 

 


RINCON PARKWAY

Pacific Coast Hwy, Between Faria & Hobson. Hwy 101, Sea Cliff offramp exit N.W. of Ventura

CAMPING: RV

Very popular oceanside RV camping (127 sites) along Old Pacific Coast Highway. Million-dollar views at sunset. Surf fishing. Self-contained RV camping only on first come first serve basis.
