Welcome to the Environmentally Preferable Products (EPP) Procurement Program of the County of Ventura. This program is administered by the Procurement Services Division of the General Services Agency and the Integrated Waste Management Division of the Public Works Agency.

Environmentally Preferable Products (EPP) are products or services that have a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment when compared with competing products or services that serve the same purpose. Such products or services may include, but are not limited to, those which contain recycled content, minimize waste, conserve energy or water, and reduce the amount of toxics disposed or consumed.

Businesses within Ventura County cities may contact their city recycling coordinator for information on programs available to them.
