	The Board of Supervisors' adopted a new "Green Procurement Policy" resolution on March 27, 2007. By this action they reaffirmed the original policy decision dated April 17, 1990 to help expand markets for the use of recovered materials by establishing greater Government preferences for products made with such materials, consistent with the demands of efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
