Ventura County Public Health is now part of the federally funded National Children's Study. Our participation will provide major insights into the health of children raised in Ventura County. This study will recruit parents-to-be and follow their children from before birth to 21 years of age. The study will examine the relationship of many environmental factors and childrens' development. This will help us develop better strategies for helping our children become healthy, and to fight obesity, diabetes, asthma and other diseases.
